Inca Trail 1 Day to the last capital of the Incas, Machu Picchu. Trek designed for travelers who have very short time and desire to explore the Inka Trail (also known Camino Inca Legendario) is a hikig trail in Peru that ends at Machupicchu. Located in the Andes mountain range that passes trough many Inca ruins along the trail and terminates in the wonder of the world.

Note: Advance booking of the Inca Trail is mandatory. The Inka Trail receives 500 people every day, of which only 200 hikers are tourists, the rest of trekkers are guides and porters. As a result; during the high season is sold out very quickly.
Every year the trail is closed during february for preserving and cleaning. Therefore, the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu is open March to January.

Hike a short section of the Classic Inca Trail
Following early morning pick up between 4:00 am, catch the train from Ollantaytambo town to Km – 104 of the railroad and visit the sites of Chachabamba on arrival. Then, start your 10 kilometer walk of the Inca Trail trek and get impressive views of Wiñay Wayna.
Marvel at the ruins of Choquesuysuy across the Sacred Valley of the Incas; pass the highland jungle cliffs to arrive at the ceremonial gate of Inti Punku. Get your first glimpse of the sacred citadel of Machu Picchu and take a 2 hour guided tour of the citadel on arrival.
Then, get some free time to explore on your own before traveling by bus to Aguas Calientes town. Take the train back to Ollantaytambo and then return to Cusco by private car.
