Death Road Bike Tour Overview
Leave Cusco behind for a day of high-altitude riding on a lesser-known route shaped by sharp mountain scenery, remote communities and exciting downhill sections. The adventure begins near Chinchaypucjio at approximately 3,700 metres, where your guide provides a complete safety briefing and bike setup before the ride.
Following the Huallpachaca route, you will move through varied Andean terrain with plenty of time to enjoy the views and tackle the trail at a controlled pace. A support vehicle, professional equipment and a small group help make the experience safer and more personal.
After the ride and a well-earned lunch, private transport returns you to Cusco at approximately 6:00 p.m.
